In July 2000, Melissa was introduced to the world of balloons and started her own decor business. After obtaining
her Certified Balloon Artist designation in 2002, Melissa has become recognized as an emerging leader in the
balloon decor industry. Her stylish and elegant event designs captivate audiences and create lasting memories
of special events.
Melissa is an award winning artist. She was named “Designer of the Year”” at both Summer Balloon Camp
(August 2008) and FLOAT the convention (November 2008). Her work has been featured in industry magazines,
as well as trade catalogs and web sites.
Melissa has been an integral part of many domestic and international projects. Some of her experience includes
the AEMI Balloon Fashion show in Shanghai (2008, 2009) and Wuhan, China (2011); Purim Festival and Parade
in Holon, Israel (2009); Final Night Gala Lead Designer for the FLOAT the convention (2010) and Summer Balloon
Camp (2009); Balloon Town USA (2007). Melissa says “I never could imagine that a balloon could take me
around the world.”
While Melissa enjoys her worldwide travels, she still finds joy in transforming local events into magical celebrations.
